What this build calculates
- Month-by-month cash flow: Accounts, income, spending, loans, property and milestones, to the cent.
- Social Security: From each statement amount: filing age, spousal and survivor benefits.
- Pensions: Life pensions paid monthly, with a share for the survivor.
- Rental property: Rent, vacancy, management and costs, as cash while it is owned.
- Stress tests and odds: Adverse cases, and seeded runs with random yearly returns.
Simplified
- Taxes, at one rate you set: Your rate on income and pre-tax withdrawals; before tax until you set it.
- Healthcare, as costs you enter: Premiums and costs by person, with gaps, overlaps and the switch at 65.
- What you leave: What you hold at each year-end, less what you owe, before estate tax.
Not calculated
- Federal and state tax rules: Brackets, deductions, credits and payroll tax: your one rate stands in.
- Medicare and marketplace premium rules: Part B, IRMAA and premium credits: enter what you pay as costs.
- Estate and inheritance tax: What you leave is shown before any estate or inheritance tax.
- Retirement-account rules: Required withdrawals, limits on your contributions and early-withdrawal penalties.
- Roth conversions and gain harvesting: Not offered; withdrawal order and flexible spending are.
- HSA and 529 rules: Held as plain accounts; qualified-use rules are not applied.
- Inherited retirement accounts: An inheritance arrives as cash; inherited IRAs are not modelled.
- Medicaid and employer health contributions: Enter your own share of cover as a cost with a health role.
- Social Security from an earnings record: Enter the benefit from your SSA statement instead.
- Historical return sequences: No licensed return series is available in this build.
